My client is a young man with a beautiful support dog "in training"
Their hope is to complete Therapy Dogs Australia (TDA) course ASAP. With the purpose of attending, with their newly trained support dog, schools, hospitals and other community organisations in need.
However, this course requires a $500 deposit, paid upfront. This is proving difficult to cover.
My client is on the Disability Support Pension and getting by, but only just! With cost of housing and all living expenses so high. the total cost for the course is $1,500 and my client can go on an affordable payment via TDA .
They have exhausted other foreseeable avenues to source the deposit, with many situations being a catch 22, NDIS unable to fund and employment services requires my client to be working before they can fund this.
They would be extremely grateful for anyone that can help. Thanking you in advance.
