Family need to relocate to a remote block of land, 109kms each way, from closest major town, with no access to running water or electricity. Due to the lack of available and affordable housing in both the public and private rental markets, this has become their only viable option. The family has no foreseeable means to change these circumstances. With extremely limited financial capacity, the client is unable to independently purchase a generator. They are engaging with a financial counsellor to receive ongoing support, but immediate assistance is needed to ensure access to basic living conditions. A generator would serve as their only solution to ensure continuity of power, enabling the family to maintain refrigeration for food and medicine, charge essential devices, and power basic lighting and appliances, as there is no standard electrical line for the property. Your support would provide immediate relief and help stabilize the family’s living situation during this difficult time.
