51 year old man has experienced great loss and displacement after the 2022 Flood. He has had a tiny home that has been lent to him by an organisation to assist him in rebuilding house. He has not been able to work since the time of the floods due to physical injuries and trauma that he suffered during the floods and subsequent assault he suffered an unprovoked incident. He has had support from different organisations but has managed without financial supports whilst on limited income from Centrelink. He is still looking for an outcome after 3 years of fighting for Buy Back assistance. This has been a hugely stressful time form him compounded by the shock loss of his mother in October this year. With uncertainty of the year ahead and cost of living challenges he is going into the Christmas period under further financial strain. Any assistance to manage the cost of fuel and groceries would be sorely welcome.
