Man is 80s reached out with help for his flood damaged kitchen, now literally falling apart

Man in his 80's flooded in 2021, home was high enough not to flood in the recent 2025 but having assumed he was ok last time he didn't reach for help when it was there. When he did, we found a kitchen that was literally crumbing in our hands as the water damage had taken its toll, and the bench was about to collapse in.
A second kitchen was donated and a builder offered him time at minimal cost to pull out and install the new kitchen. Total cost quoted is $1400 including labour for two builders, plumbing parts, tap, screws, clearing away good and tip fees. We already have $1000 paid and just require $400 to complete the job. This will mean to world to this elderly man, who has a love for cooking and is trying to stay in his own home as long as he can.
