Young couple and baby struggling with cost of living
GIVIT
Young client and her partner have had their first baby, who is now 6 months old. With very little family support and the rising cot of living there are struggling to make ends meet. Her partner works 12hr shifts as a taxi driver, meaning he is way from home a lot but not always getting paid for his time. They are living in a small rental, that has been deemed unsafe due to mould and will have to move. Unsure if they can afford anything of better quality they are looking at possible department housing, however the wait list is very long. They are not sure where to from here at this stage. Feeling the financial pressures of a single income young family adds to the pressure they are feeling.
