Two people residing in the hinterland region of the Gold Coast when TC Alfred stuck the area were experiencing cost of living crisis prior and now have the added burden of being impacted by the after effects of the cyclone and having to replace items that were lost. A large amount of rain entered through 7 windows and affected the rooms and the property, damaging them.
