Single mother with school aged children no access to food and medication
GIVIT
A single mother with PTSD and auditory hallucinations after experiencing DV, has been looking after her school aged daughter. Her brother who used to live with her, has disclosed the plan of moving out and refusing to provide financial support. The mother has risk to be homelessness as she would need to pay $420 per week for rental housing, and she only receives Centrelink payment, and no capacity to work due to psychosocial disability. She has to pay bills and school fees for her child. She is owing her Church community $2000 in total and she feels bad about owing them money. She is now having difficulty accessing food and medications.
