Accommodation, care and support for homeless young people
GIVIT
We provide accommodation, care and support to young people ages 16-22 years who are currently experiencing or are at serious risk of homelessness.
We run an independent learning and developing program; creating understanding how to budget, clean , cook , how to own and hold a lease, so not to become homeless. Residents come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Many have experienced significant, and often complex, problems in their life. Our youth workers are there to help them access assistance from other providers (such as mental health care services) and provide regular counselling and emotional support.
We are reaching out for donation for towels/tea towels, king single sheets / blankets and Dunas to replenish our dwindling supplies
