We are reaching out on behalf of a courageous young mother in our community who needs your support.
She is a survivor of domestic violence who made the brave decision to leave a dangerous situation to protect herself, her three small children and her unborn baby. She has relocated to our town in hopes of building a safer, more stable life. She came here with almost nothing—no car, no family, no friends nearby—and is currently living in a small unit with rent that takes nearly all of her income.
She doesn’t have a driver’s license, which makes everyday tasks like shopping, attending medical appointments, or preparing for the baby incredibly challenging. Despite all of this, she continues to show remarkable strength every day—doing everything she can to create a loving, peaceful future for her children.
