Client has recently experienced significant hardship and is in need of support. After three years in a rental in Ballina, he was forced to move due to circumstances beyond his control, leaving him temporarily homeless. Shortly after, he broke his ankle and required a hospital stay, which prevented him from working and left him with no income. During this time, all of his belongings that remained at his previous home were stolen. He has since been offered a pod in a Pod Village for people impacted by the 2022 floods and Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Unfortunately, the pods are no longer furnished, and the television provided is no longer working. As he is still recovering and unable to return to work, he is spending long hours at home. A replacement TV would make a big difference to his wellbeing, helping him stay connected and entertained during his recovery.
