Family of four children (3 with medical and neurodevelopmental conditions with additional support needs) from regional NSW have faced hardship after hardship this year, with medical complications, local floods, financial stress, and countless health appointments for each family member.
Dad has recently and unexpectedly had to permanently stop working due to physical health issues, and Mum has been providing full time care for the 4 children, dad, and an extended family member with terminal cancer. Multiple family members require essential medication and healthcare appointments which add to the financial strain.
Mum and Dad are worried about how they will be able to make Christmas special this year with these changes in circumstances and long waiting times for government assistance.
Hoping to support the family with some much-needed grocery, chemist and toy vouchers during this period of significant hardship.
