60 year old indigenous woman with 4 children and 8 grandchildren has been living in emergency accommodation for about 5 months due to homelessness. She was couch-surfing at her sister’s and other people's homes for one year and had previously lived in several places, but it was not stable, and she is in the process of finding permanent accommodation. Her mother passed away 3 years ago from lung cancer, so it has been a very hard time and she is struggling mentally and financially. She is starting a course in July. This course will boost her confidence and she will be able to share her story with her children, so that they may know their family history. She would like a laptop to support her studies as well as being able to access online services. She is also helping a friend who is going through some troubles. She is wanting to turn her life around and make a positive change. Any help we can offer this lady would be greatly appreciated.
