GIVIT
Young person and mum have recently secured a private rental and are needing support with a refrigerator/gift card to purchase one. The young person has an intellectual disability, and mother has multiple complex mental health concerns. They struggle financially and have no driver's licences or car. This has resulted in barriers to regular grocery shopping or online grocery deliveries. A fridge will support them to make the most of each grocery delivery order and support their situation. Both the young person and his mother eat unhealthily because of this and do not receive the required nutrition, also impacting upon physical health.
