A young mum of a two year old boy who is raising him on her own after fleeing domestic violence. They came to Australia at 16 as a refugee and had to flee the family home at 17 due to family violence. They experienced homelessness and were eventually able to secure stable housing when they found out they were pregnant. Unfortunately the relationship with dad was violent and they had to flee again. They now have safe and stable housing but raising a child on a single income is financially challenging. Mum is keen to continuing working towards her goals and to provide the best possible life for herself and her son.
