This woman has endured severe family violence, forcing her to flee her previous environment and relocate to Melbourne without any secure housing options resulting in homelessness. Despite these immense challenges she has participated in programs to support her substance use and mental health concerns. She has recently secured a long term housing option, however she is lacking essential housing items and furniture. She is currently sleeping on the floor of her flat or on the couches of her friends and family. Providing immediate support to help furnish her flat with basic necessities is essential. Doing so will supping her independence, self-esteem, and overall well-being by creating a safe and comfortable environment where she can continue her recovery and move forward with her life.
