Domestic & Family Violence
A single parent of three children is preparing to move into transitional housing after a prolonged period of homelessness and exposure to domestic violence. The family has been living between short-term rentals and a vehicle, with limited access to basic amenities. Two of the children have diagnosed neurodevelopmental conditions requiring routine and stability. The parent faces ongoing financial hardship due to debts and the cost of caring for the children. Mental and physical health challenges further complicate the situation. The transitional property is unfurnished, and the family urgently requires household items to support daily living, hygiene, and food storage. Assistance with these items would significantly improve their wellbeing and help establish a safe, functional home environment during this critical transition.
