55yr old lady who has not been able to work for a couple of years due to severe OA throughout her body. recently had surgery but due to financial constraints struggling to pay for pain medication so has been trying to do without. this is hampering her recovery. Lives with her daughter and son in law and 4 children in community housing, after leaving a DV relationship. Mental health suffering due to pain and financial issues and the time of the year being unable to buy her grandchildren any gifts for Christmas. On job seeker and looking to apply for disability in the new year if her mobility does not improve. Ultimately her aim is to return to work and find herself a safe home to live in. Has also been recently diagnosed with sleep apnoea and needs to find the funds to pay for a CPAP machine. currently hiring one from a company but this is also adding to the financial strains.
