A mother escaping violence in the home, is currently living in hospital with her two children, one of whom has a brain tumour. The family have been seeking medical treatment for the past 12-months, but as things escalated in the home, they took sanctuary in the hospital in an attempt to escape and find some peace as they support the medical journey of the child.
The family have no belongings other than the few items they had for hospital and their car.
They are looking to relocate and re-establish their lives over the coming months; however, need to remain close to medical care.
This family are incredibly vulnerable at this time, having endured significant physical psychological and sexual abuse in the home over extended periods of time. The mother is not currently in a position to work due to the complexity of their situation and her mental health.
