Mum spending all her time caring for her family, protecting herself from Domestic Violence (DV) and carrying out her duties as an elder in the Aboriginal community, she did not have a chance to care for herself. She has developed significant back issues reducing her mobility. Due to her sever physical health issues, she has been unable to clean her house resulting in a severe case of mould and cockroach infestation. She had to unfortunately let go of her sentimental goods including her fridge, and other household furniture - some of them were damaged during DV incidents. The Department are only limited to providing her with cleaners, etc. We are seeking support from GIVIT to donate a fridge and other household items. She is desperately in need of a fridge and a freezer during this Christmas period to not only store food but, medication as well. Any support with furniture would be appreciated.
