GIVIT
At our 26 bed inpatient mental health hospital in Melbourne’s western suburbs, many people are facing enormous challenges: poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, serious health issues, and isolation. Some arrive with little more than the clothes they’re wearing.
This Christmas, we want every person in our care to wake up to a small gift, something that shows they are valued, remembered, and cared for. A simple present, such as clothing, toiletries, or a comfort item, can mean so much to someone spending the holidays in hospital.
