49-year-old woman, she escaped a domestic violence situation. She has a child who is still with the father in an abusive situation. She is wishing to get her child home with her where she will be safe and cared for. Right now, the court requires that her home be properly set up with a safe and welcoming bedroom before her child can return. She is doing everything she can to meet these requirements. She is currently on the Disability Support Pension and not working, which makes it very difficult to afford the essentials needed to create a suitable space. Her mental health is struggling with her not having her child with her.
Her dedication is unwavering—she is immensely committed to creating the right environment so her child can return. With your support, we can help her show the court that her home is ready, safe, and welcoming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
