After the tragic loss of her mother and aunty, this young child’s world changed forever. In the midst of deep grief and disruption, she is now being lovingly cared for by her grandmother, who has stepped into the role of primary caregiver during an incredibly difficult time.

The grandmother is now responsible for not only this child and her sibling, but also four other grandchildren, all of whom have varying support needs. Despite limited financial capacity, she has shown remarkable strength and commitment in providing stability, safety, and emotional care for the children in her home.

Actively engaging with support services, the grandmother is doing everything within her power to ensure the children’s wellbeing, safety, and access to education. However, the demands of caring for multiple children while navigating grief and financial hardship have placed significant strain on the household.
