The young Syrian refugee, currently in Year 6, faces significant challenges due to her mobility issues, which prevent her from playing with her friends and engaging in typical social activities. As a result of her disability, she often feels isolated and disconnected from her peers. Coupled with the trauma she has experienced and her low-income background, she struggles to access the resources needed for her education, such as a laptop for completing homework. Her single mother, unable to afford these necessities, finds it difficult to provide the support needed to help her daughter succeed both socially and academically.
