Our organisation assists homeless people in finding long term housing. These people are people who have fallen through the cracks and not had a place to call home for up to 10 years. We work with them to secure housing and give them a place to call home. We then will utilise all services in the area to assist in helping them set-up their home. We're a big believer in client choice and self-determination and having a voucher to provide them really goes a long way in them setting up their house. I have an offer in for hardware vouchers which are amazing. I was hoping to put an offer for Kmart vouchers as well so they can pick things like their own kettle and toaster or the types of glasses and cups they want. These small things go such a long way in helping someone.
