Small family struggling financially as a result of the February Storm event and health issues now impacting.
VIC Storms February 2024
Resident & partner are permanent carers for their early teenage grandchildren. They continue to experience financial hardship, renting while being fulltime carers, experienced significant losses through power outage from the February Storm event; food loss, running generator. Grandmother is now experiencing health issue and struggling while is aware of local community supports is still struggling to recover and catch up due to limited income and price increases. The residents would be appreciative of any assistance available.
