A grandmother and her grandson had been experiencing homelessness for an extended period of time. After 18mths of instability and hardship, they have finally secured a property, offering them safety, stability and a chance to rebuild their lives. While this is significant and a positive step forward, they have very few belongings. Support is urgently needed to assist them in setting up the household with essentials required for day to day living. Items such as a microwave, fridge, washing machine and kitchen essentials will provide comfort, restore dignity and create a safe and nurturing home environment for both grandmother and child. This will reduce the financial strain and allow them to focus on their tenancy and build a stable future for them both.
