36-year-old indigenous woman, single mother with a 2-year-old child. She had to flee interstate with nothing but a small suitcase of belongings to escape a violent Domestic Violent situation. She suffers from permanent nerve damage in right foot from the domestic violence. She connected with DV Connect and is waiting on intake with them. She was homeless and couch surfing but has been able to secure a private rental. She is under immense financial hardship. Finding it hard to supply the basic needs for her and her child. Moving interstate due to fleeing the DV she left behind her family and any support network she had. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
