Local male suffering from mental illness requires a vacuum cleaner to replace his faulty one.
GIVIT
We run a mental health outreach program for individuals suffering from severe mental illness who have been identified as needing extra support within our community.
This particular individual has been part of our program (on and off) for around 7 years. He is currently doing fantastically well with his recovery journey. We have been impressed with how far he has come especially with building independence while residing in a Housing ACT property.
This gentleman has significant past trauma and has a diagnosis of schizophrenia, both of which make life harder than it needs to be.
