Groceries support for mum battling cancer

Mum is an Aboriginal mother of four who was diagnosed with cervical adenocarcinoma in August. The cancer has spread to her ovaries. She has almost completed five weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, with brachytherapy at the Royal Brisbane Hospital as her next step.
Because of her current situation, Mum is struggling to afford enough food for herself and her children. This has created an extra challenge at a time when she is already stretched to her limits. Having young children means that regular, nutritious meals are essential for their growth and wellbeing. Being able to afford enough food would ease some of the pressure she is facing, helping to ensure her children are well fed and cared for.
Support with groceries would ease stress for mum and allow her to focus on her treatment and recovery while caring for her children.
