A single mum to two children aged 7yo (M) and 11yo (F). Both the children have different fathers, and mum is separated with both the ex-partners. The children were removed from mum's care 5 years ago following FDV from one of the partners, mum's AOD and mental health concerns. They were reunified with mum last year. 7yo is suspected to have FASD (on the waitlist for formal diagnosis). Mum is struggling significantly to meet family's needs.
Mum reported that the children want to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holidays, however, they are unable to do so due to financial hardships.
Mum has requested for the gift vouchers so that she could use them for the children and groceries.
