A 25 year old mum, who migrated from East Africa, with 4 children (ranging 3 weeks to 7 years old) living in public housing.

Seeking a donation or a VOUCHER for a fridge. This young mum is raising 4 young children. The family migrated to Melbourne and do not have any extended family to rely on. The kids are extremely bright, energetic and active. The family lives in a 2 bedroom public housing high-rise, and the mother works tirelessly to ensure her children are entertained and have their needs are met (this means going up and down the lift (which is slow and often broken) multiple times per day to take them to and from school and play in the local park). The recent addition of the new baby has forced change into the family's routine and they have been spending more time inside- this requires so much preparation to keep the kids entertained and happy inside. Yesterday their fridge broke! This has put a huge strain on the mum who has prepared food to feed the family, while she is still healing and nursing her new 3 week old baby. The family does not have funds to replace it.
