Treatment involves chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants, with their third child stepping in as the donor. Their father is also recovering from a double hip replacement, leaving him unable to work and causing a major drop in income. Mum is doing everything she can to care for her children and husband, but the demands are overwhelming.
When their washing machine broke, it created an extra challenge for a household already stretched to its limits. With children whose health depends on strict hygiene, clean clothes and bedding are essential. A working washing machine would ease the family’s daily struggles and ensure a safer, more comfortable environment while they focus on treatment and recovery.
