This single mother and her child are facing ongoing family stress due to a current partner’s violence, meth use, and mental health challenges. Incidents at home have forced them to stay elsewhere at times, leaving them isolated and unsettled. The child is now showing signs of stress and struggle due to these disruptions including at school towards other children and other mental health issues.. Despite these challenges, the mother is committed to keeping her child safe and building a stable life. Support from the community would help them find safety, reduce the impact of these traumatic experiences, and give the child a chance to thrive and early intervention to leave the relationship indefinitely.
