Seeking support for a client who has been rebuilding her life after losing all of her belongings in the 2022 flood. Since then, she has experienced ongoing instability and periods of homelessness, including living in her van, before recently securing more stable accommodation. While this has been a really positive step, she continues to face significant financial hardship as she works to re-establish her home and meet day-to-day living costs.
She is a primary support person for her grandchildren, who spend a lot of time in her care, and she is wanting to make Christmas special for them this year. We are requesting Christmas hamper items, non-perishable groceries, or grocery vouchers to help her create a simple Christmas meal and provide her grandchildren with a special experience. Any support would be truly appreciated.
