This 42 year old woman receives a Carers Pension from Centrelink for her son who has ADHD but she cannot go to work as she cannot leave him with anyone, she has no extended family support. When she was pregnant with her son, she experienced domestic violence, the marriage ended when her son was 6 months old. Her son is now a teenager and this woman is trying to raise and educate him on her own, he struggles at school and needs education support to enable him to have good quality of life.
