52 year old male recently housed after experiencing long term homelessness during cyclone and complex mental health

This 52 year old male has recently just obtained a private rental after living in temporary accommodation and sleeping in his car for over 2 years. Due to the mental and physical toll of experiencing long term homelessness this individual was experiencing significant anxiety and depression. This individual was also sleeping in his car during the recent cyclone and lost many of his belongings due to water damage. However, after a few months in his new home he has been able to obtain part time employment and his overall wellbeing has improved significantly. He needs further support to buy a few household items and Christmas gifts for his daughter while he continues to stabilise and improve his living situation.
