Working with a 14year old girl and her family currently facing significant challenges that have impacted their ability to support my young persons mental health. They have had their only car breakdown recently which has intensified stress within the home and feelings of helplessness. The household consists of her mum, dad, aunt, uncle, two younger brothers, and one sister, all living together in overcrowded conditions.
Both parents are working long hours to keep up with bills, leaving limited time and energy to provide emotional support for the kids.
Parents admit to finding it hard to ask for help but have agreed to allow me to reach out on their behalf, in the hopes of making their holiday season a bit better for the kids.
They are a beautiful family who work really hard, but have fallen on even harder times over the past few months. Any help or support would be greatly appreciated and would impact stability for hte family.
