Washer / Dryer Combo

Many of the people who come through our doors are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. One of the most basic human needs—clean clothing—can be difficult or even impossible for them to access. Without a place to wash or dry clothes, individuals are left wearing the same outfits day after day, which not only affects their health and hygiene but also their dignity, confidence, and ability to participate in daily life, work, or social interactions.

We are seeking support to install a washing machine and dryer at our community centre to help meet this need. Having access to laundry facilities would provide comfort, restore a sense of normalcy, and give people a small but powerful step toward rebuilding their lives. A warm, clean outfit can be a lifeline for someone doing it tough—this simple act of care can have an enormous impact. Your support will help us offer a safe, respectful space where people can meet this vital need with dignity.
