Older women currently experiencing homelessness
GIVIT
A group of women over the age of 50, each navigating the complex challenges of homelessness, trauma, family violence, mental health issues, and social isolation, are currently residing in a transitional rooming house. This shared accommodation provides temporary shelter and safety, but the emotional toll of their experiences often leaves them disconnected and vulnerable.
To foster a sense of community and belonging, a television is being requested for the communal living space. This shared resource would serve as a catalyst for connection.
