A family of 5 were anxiously awaiting the delivery of their newest sibling, only for her to be born at 25 weeks premature and flown to a tertiary hospital; 730kms away.
This has seen dad at home with 3 children, struggling to juggle the routines of the home, work and emotional support for his wife... and Mum in the NICU with baby. The stress for mum is all consuming at this time.
The financial pressures are crippling this little family as they work to maintain 2 homes at a distance, they try to remain positive about the long term impact on baby, and struggle with the family separation. With no hospital in their hometown, there are no other care options at this time. The family have now been separated for 3 months and counting... any assistance with make life a little easier and really raise their spirits.
