Single middle aged homeless man recently received housing needing supplies for setting up new home .
GIVIT
Client is single man on disability who has been homeless for the past two years. He has no family supports in Qld and has been on the housing waitlist. He has just secured a bedsit and is very excited to be able to be warm at night . He has no savings but recently did his budget for how much he needs to pay his rent and pay utilities and to buy food. He has a couple of pans and some plates that he has been gifted from the local charity shop. He would like assistance in purchasing a bed and linens in order to sleep off the floor in his room. Client is very excited to be able to be out of the elements at night and be safe from harm. As the local community center we can help him out with a couple of hot meals a week and would like to make sure he stays housed and has the supports he needs.
