A single mother has been caring for her young daughter of 8 since she was born; soon after the birth, she was diagnosed with a life limiting condition that requires constant travel to and from a major city hospital... located 5 hours drive from their hometown. The unknown elements of this condition, and the childs consistent pain levels, have been major stress factors for the two of them over the years.
The family do not have a car and were recently evicted from their home due to mould and a lack of housing availability, seeing them 'couch surf' week on week. The mother has clinic depression also, which can see dark episodes where leaving the house is challenging, caring for her daughter is near impossible and life just seems very hard.
