Mum of 5 is currently experiencing significant medical and financial hardship and is urgently seeking support. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and underwent chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, which initially cleared the cancer. In January this year, she was re-diagnosed with brain cancer. She has since learned she has three tumours and is currently undergoing targeted chemotherapy at Peter Mac. The treatment is very harsh and is causing severe illness and immobility. Mum expressed that she feels she may not have long left and is in urgent need of assistance and direction. Two of the children, have lived with severe epilepsy and have spent much of their lives in hospital. Mum is the primary carer for all five children and is extremely worried about their wellbeing and future given her declining health. Grocery vouchers would provide much needed support, helping ease the pressure and ensure the family has food and essentials.
