Jyelan is a 20-year-old Aboriginal man who is restarting his life to reconnect with his 2-year-old daughter with the involvement of Child Youth and Families Services. He has just moved into transitional accommodation in Canberra and needs to furnish his house to continue contact with his daughter and meet the requirements for home visits. Without any family support in Canberra, Jyelan is undertaking this journey alone and is seeking assistance from GIVIT to help him set up his home. Creating a safe, comfortable environment is essential for him to progress with supervised visits and work toward rebuilding his relationship with his daughter.
