GIVIT
Our inpatient psychiatric unit is the only unit in Victoria that provides care to women. As a health care service, we specialise in acute engagement and treatment for people with severe mental illness and high needs. Many of our consumers are homeless or come into hospital unexpectedly without clothes.
Our service users often come to our unit unexpectedly. Underwear is the most requested item on the unit, as service users often do not have family or loved ones to bring in items for them. We would greatly appreciate any donations of vouchers so we can purchase some underwear for our unit.
