Grocery Voucher - $20

Windsor QLD 4030

A mother supporting her young First Nations daughter, who has recently become a mum, is struggling to cover essential costs. Grocery vouchers would greatly help this family by offsetting the cost of car registration renewal, ensuring they can stay mobile and continue accessing school, appointments, and community supports.

Recipient story

First Nations mum with newborn, hoping to return to high school, urgently needs a double bed and mattress
First Nations Support
GIVIT
This First Nations mum has recently welcomed her newborn and is working hard to create a safe and stable environment for her baby. Alongside the challenges of caring for an infant and managing with limited financial resources, she is determined to return to high school so she can continue her education and build a brighter future for herself and her child. Right now, she is in desperate need of a double bed and mattress. Having a proper bed will provide her with safe, supportive rest and allow her to care for her baby more comfortably through the night. Community support with this essential need will ease some of the heavy load she carries and help her focus on both motherhood and her education.

How it's helped before

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.

Thank you for your generous gesture & much needed support GIVIT.
