This mother has recently escaped a domestic violence situation, no mean feat after years of physical, emotional, financial and sexual abuse. She is also now the single parent of 4 children, including a 3 year old who has brain injury after a car accident and a 10mth old baby. The mother also sustained injuries from the car accident requiring surgery, which have affected her long-term.
The mother is unable to work due to intense medical and caring requirements of her 3 years old child.
The family live in a 2 bedroom housing Commission apartment.
The family continue to travel to and from regional NSW to Westmead Children's Hospital for treatment.
This family are really struggling and in need of assistance.
