We are reaching out for urgent support for a family who have shown incredible strength and resilience after fleeing FDV in Broome. The mother, who is caring for her two young sons and her sister, has endured significant hardship and continues to face ongoing mental health challenges as a result of the trauma they have experienced. After spending time in a women’s refuge, the family have now been offered accommodation through our program and will soon receive the keys to their new home, a safe and stable environment where they can begin rebuilding their lives. Unfortunately, they are starting from nothing and have no furniture, whitegoods, or basic household items. This courageous mother has shown remarkable determination to provide safety and stability for her family despite overwhelming challenges. Any donations of essential household goods, such as beds, bedding, lounge furniture, dining items, kitchenware, or whitegoods, would make an enormous difference to this family.
