My client fled persecution over a decade ago and arrived in Australia in late 2023. For 17 long years he was separated from his elderly mother and the rest of his family. Thanks to the kindness of his community, he has just secured a return flight to finally hold his mum again. He is living in extreme financial hardship and has nothing spare for the journey.
