61yr old woman, resides alone & isolated in a privately rented very old & extremely basic farmhouse since fleeing domestic and family violence approx 1.5yrs ago.
Her home was completely inundated with over 1 metre of water during the Feb 2025 flooding event. There is no furniture besides a decrepit couch on which she sleeps, a side table, portable camping stove and camping fridge and boxes for clothing. The toilet is outside. She has an old garden chair and table in the carport and a bookcase. Her car was completely ruined by the flood water. She gets a lift or at times borrows a car for her supplies.
She identified a bed and bed base as her greatest need, followed by bedding, a fridge/freezer and that she would love a washing machine.
